Self-Generating Pages
If the contents of your webpages are automatically generated at real time by using a script such as .cgi, .asp, etc. rather than a normal .HTML (or .htm) file then you risk having your submission rejected by the engines. This sort of problem will result mainly because the content of the pages will change each time a search engine spider visits it, thus making it practically impossible to index the site on a long-term basis. Search engines will only accept permanent pages that can be reindexed as this allows for more accurate indexes to be kept, rather than spending large amounts of time and money to repeatedly reindex a page that could alter its contents every hour.
